Carlos Condit is an American mixed martial artist. He competed in World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), where he was the final Welterweight Champion, in the Welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he was Interim UFC Welterweight Champion, and for both Shootboxing and Pancrase in Japan. He is nicknamed The Natural Born Killer.
He is the son of Camille Prevost and Brian Condit, who was Chieff of Staff for New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. In an interview on Sherdog.com in October 2011, he stated that his grandfather was adopted, and inherited the name Condit. He added that his grandfather was of Austrian, German, and Cherokee Native American descent, while his grandmother was of Spanish-Mexican and Indigenous Mexican descent.
He is married to Seager Marie McCullah, with whom he has one child.
